​I want to make the world a more beautiful place, one natural product at a time. I founded MARIA ÅKERBERG because I couldn’t find real, honest skincare that wasn’t using synthetic shortcuts or compromised on quality. I wanted to capture the natural beauty within us all and harness the inherent power of nature. It became my motivation when I started out in 1995 and it is just as strong within me today. It is a driving force that keeps me constantly curious, always on my toes.

To me, it’s all about making the best out of what we already have, what nature has given to us. In this day and age, I believe it is both an obligation and a right. Choosing the wrong kind of skincare will not only make a dent in your wallet, your skin pays a higher price than you might think. No to mention our environment. I believe that everyone has a right to real skincare and to know what they are paying for. That is why our products are only sold by people who know what they are talking about. That is why we don’t manufacture anything in our factory on the expense of someone else, particularly not the animals'. And that is why we only use natural minerals and organically certified ingredients that take care of our bodies as well as the planet we live on. It’s as easy as that.
